Three Generations of Caregiver Support
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInUp” css=””]
CaregiverHelp is a multi-generational venture born out of love, resilience, and a shared commitment to supporting caregivers.
[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”white” border_width=”2″ css=””][vc_column_text css=””]It began with the honest, humorous, and heartfelt letters of Madelyn Kubin, a Kansas farm wife whose words captured the raw realities of caring for her husband. Her daughter, Elaine Sanchez, turned those stories into keynotes, books, and the CaregiverHelp Support Group Program, giving caregivers tools to manage stress and emotions with honesty and humor.
Elaine’s husband, Dr. Alex Sanchez, brought both personal caregiving experience and professional expertise as an educator. Together, they expanded CaregiverHelp into a nationally recognized voice for caregiver support. His influence continues to shape the stories, strategies, and programs offered today.
Now, Madelyn’s granddaughter, Annie Stevens, carries the mission forward, combining her operational leadership with her own caregiving experiences to help build communities of support.
Together, Madelyn, Elaine, Alex, and Annie represent the heart of CaregiverHelp: a legacy of caregiving that spans generations and experiences, united by the belief that no caregiver should ever feel alone.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1762760418466{padding-top: 5% !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1761510815220{margin-bottom: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

Madelyn Kubin The Inspiration
Madelyn Kubin’s unflinchingly honest and surprisingly funny letters to her daughter, Elaine, were the inspiration for CaregiverHelp.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1761865492860{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1761516825758{margin-top: 0px !important;margin-right: 0px !important;margin-bottom: -14% !important;margin-left: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;padding-right: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”1429″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” css_animation=”zoomIn” css=”.vc_custom_1761865801859{margin-top: -14% !important;margin-right: -10% !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;margin-left: -10% !important;padding-top: 0px !important;padding-right: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;}” image_hovers=”false” link=”https://www.amazon.com/Letters-Madelyn-Chronicles-Elaine-Sanchez/dp/1608081664″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text css=””]
Letters from Madelyn
Chronicles of a Caregiver
Madelyn Kubin was a seventy-year-old Kansas farm wife. She appeared to be fragile because of her thinning white hair, macular degeneration, osteoporosis, congestive heart failure, and severe hearing loss. But when her husband Quentin suffered a debilitating stroke, she was forced to summon physical, emotional, and spiritual strengths she didn’t know she possessed in order to care for him at home.[/vc_column_text][dt_default_button link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FLetters-Madelyn-Chronicles-Elaine-Sanchez%2Fdp%2F1608081664|target:_blank”]Available on Amazon[/dt_default_button][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1760491706326{padding-top: 4% !important;padding-bottom: 5% !important;}”][vc_column][vc_separator css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” gap=”30″][vc_column width=”1/3″][mbapt_magic_box magic_scroll=”on” distance_scroll_y=”-200″ display_border=”” display_border_hover=”” display_boxshadow=”” display_boxshadow_hover=”” bg_color_animate=”” animation_effects=”transition.fadeIn” animation_delay=”500″ css_box=”.vc_custom_1761586887203{margin-top: -7% !important;padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 5% !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”1093″ img_size=”full” css_animation=”fadeIn” css=”.vc_custom_1760643130903{padding-bottom: 5% !important;}”][/mbapt_magic_box][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text css=””]
Elaine Sanchez Founder & Caregiver Speaker
Elaine’s caregiving journey began on October 30, 1993, when her father suffered a debilitating stroke. During the six and a half years that followed, her mother, Madelyn, wrote her dozens of deeply personal, honest, and often humorous letters about the daily challenges of caregiving. Elaine saved every one.
In 2004, she was invited to speak at her church on Mother’s Day about mother–daughter relationships. She read a few excerpts from one of the letters, and afterward people came up to her and said, “You have to write a book.”
That encouragement led to the first edition of Letters from Madelyn: Chronicles of a Caregiver in 2007.
Using Madelyn’s letters as the foundation, Elaine developed a speaking career and the CaregiverHelp Support Group Program, and soon began speaking at healthcare and caregiving conferences nationwide. In 2020, when all her in-person events were canceled, she built a video production studio in her home and transitioned to virtual speaking engagements.
Today, she offers live and pre-recorded virtual keynotes, caregiver support groups, and a robust YouTube channel where she posts new content weekly — all with one goal: to help caregivers know they are not alone, and to offer hope, humor, and heart on the days when caregiving feels overwhelming.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1631″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_rounded” css_animation=”fadeIn” css=”” image_hovers=”false”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1760491706326{padding-top: 4% !important;padding-bottom: 5% !important;}”][vc_column][vc_separator css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” gap=”30″][vc_column width=”1/3″][mbapt_magic_box magic_scroll=”on” distance_scroll_y=”-200″ display_border=”” display_border_hover=”” display_boxshadow=”” display_boxshadow_hover=”” bg_color_animate=”” animation_effects=”transition.fadeIn” animation_delay=”500″ css_box=”.vc_custom_1761586887203{margin-top: -7% !important;padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 5% !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”1094″ img_size=”full” css_animation=”fadeIn” css=”.vc_custom_1760643138501{padding-bottom: 5% !important;}”][/mbapt_magic_box][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text css=””]

With Gratitude
